Since purchasing the vehicle on August 18th, there have been no-end of faults found with the vehicle as listed & detailed below.

Inertia Seat Belt system: 

During a test drive of the vehicle with Fangna, it was noted that the passenger seatbelt failed to latch – despite being ticked as ‘complies’ by the Certified Technician, Jasvir, on the MFA. After the test drive was complete, this was raised with the manager Dawood, who agreed to repair this issue prior to collection of the vehicle. This was rectified by their workshop prior to collection of the vehicle.

Infotainment system: (see video below)

On August 19th, it was discovered that the touch screen Infotainments centre does not operate at all. No Bluetooth, no linking media whether it be wirelessly, or via a USB lead, neither option works. 

This was reported to Dawood who arranged for Jas to look at this issue on Saturday August 29th at 10:00 am

Passenger Front Seat: (see video below)

August 19th, It was further noted that the switch on the passenger seat that sends the backrest part of the seat, backwards and forwards, does not work at all. The backrest seat position cannot be adjusted at all.

This too was reported to Dawood to be looked at on August 29th.

Heating & Ventilation System: (See video below)

August 20th, Due to heavy rain and temperature change, the car windows started to mist up and cannot be cleared the usual, fresh air entry into the vehicle cab, via the fan. The windows can only be cleared by pressing the recirc button which then mists the windows even further, as it is just recirculating the moist air already in the vehicle – especially with 2 people in the car.

Having researched this issue myself, the problem seems to point to a seriously blocked cabin filter, or air intake under the bonnet of the car. 

This issue was raised with Dawood & also scheduled for August 29th

Heated Mirrors: (See video below)

August 20th, The dial on the drivers door operates the mirrors left and right and works fine. There is also the option to switch on the heated mirrors – indicated by a small red LED and a symbol of a window with a heat wave.

The dial switch cannot be switched to this position. it just springs back and is faulty. The heated mirrors do not work. At this point, the heated rear window was tested and works fine.

Malfunction lights: (see image below)

Aug 21st, This morning, as I started the car to leave for work, multiple malfunction lights appeared on the dashboard cluster (see image below)
